GRASTON TECHNIQUE
The Graston Technique is a revolutionary technique for instrument-aided delicate tissue therapy that is utilized to deal with scar tissue framing in muscles, tendons, and ligaments that can prompt discomfort and limited range of motion. The Graston Technique permits the Chiropractor to distinguish and treat these territories using a stainless steel instrument that skims along the patient's tissue, separating these confinements and adhesions.
The Graston Technique is extremely viable for some conditions, including plantar fascitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder and sciatica. This strategy brings about forestalling intense conditions and switches the conclusion of conditions once thought to be changeless. If you are experiencing pain or are troubled limitations in movement, call our office and to see how this successful treatment method can help you today.
ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE
Active Release Techniques ® (ART) treatment is a hands-on case-management system that allows us to diagnose and treat soft tissue injuries. When trauma occurs, whether from surgery, accident, postural distortion or repetitive strain, the body’s natural response is the formation of scar tissue. Scarring has a detrimental effect, causing tissues to adhere to themselves as well as to other related structures. Adhesions are responsible for the vast number of aches and pains that occur. Active Release Techniques ® Soft Tissue Management Systems are very specific treatment protocols directed at removing the adhesions at virtually every structure of the musculoskeletal system. The main concept is to reestablish motion between fascial planes thus reducing fibrous adhesions and reestablishing neural and myofascial glide between tissues. Freeing the structures from entrampments and allowing them to return to their full range of motion, restoring biomechanical stability and function.
